Our Process
At North Star, we help our clients craft health professions personal statements that reflect who they are at their core, highlighting their unique guiding principles and helping them stand out in a highly competitive field of applicants.
We operate on a timeline that works for our applicants, keeping them focused and driven to complete a polished final product.
North Star works with clients over six weeks, with start dates running September through May. Enrollment capacity is limited to provide accessible appointment availability and a high level of customer service. We recommend our clients enroll during their application year.
6 WEEKS
Guided support over six weeks.
Includes: 30-minute initial consultation with Laura, curated reflection exercises, writing prompts, self-guided video workshop, 30-minute draft one zoom review session, editorial feedback on draft one with suggested revisions, draft two editorial review and suggested final edits. Laura hosts the zoom sessions, Alex and Laura collaborate to provide editorial advice.
I am beyond grateful that you helped me craft one of the most memorable PA personal statements. At the very beginning of my interview with Yale, my interviewer said “never have I ever heard someone relate PA school to surfing” and my statament “definitely stood out.”
